SOMEWHERE in the heights of Marilog, Davao City, is a place the natives call Epol. Commuters pass by this mountain barangay on the way to Bukidnon or Cagayan de Oro City. I really don't know where it got its name but for now I thought maybe from the fruit apple.
John Preeg: Easter visitors enjoy great fishing
It was a bit windy early in the week, and the dirty water stifled the fishing for a few days, but this is mid-April, and the fishing is typically good in all areas. By this weekend, the waters will again be clear, and the fishing great.

Shark Bites Boy On Marco Island Beach
An 11-year-old Michigan boy was bitten by a shark Monday off Marco Island. Its the second shark bite in Southwest Florida waters in less than a year.
